My Singing Monsters 4.8.0 is a major update that released on April 16th, 2025.
Additions
Monsters
Epic Wubbox (Ethereal Island)
Epic Wublins
- Epic Wublins made their debut in this update, those being:
- Epic Wublins can be evolved from their Rare forms.
- Epic Wublins require the Epic forms of their previous inventory's eggs, but also require Epic Fire Monsters.
Rare Spytrap
- Was accidentally revealed via a bug in the Scratch Ticket where you could get a "Rare Spytrap" before the actual release. Since none of Rare Spytraps assets were actually in the game yet, you would hatch nothing from the egg, and the game would crash if you tried to place the monster.
Rare Roarick
- Wasn't obtainable until a week later, on April 23rd, 2025.
Costumes
Touch of Tromino
- A costume for Oaktopus.
Monkey Business
- A costume for Stogg
Apt Apriarist
- A costume for Yelmut
Beads of Sweet
- A costume for Rare Flowah
Structures
Polarity Amplifier
- Increases the positive polarity range and decreases the negative polarity range of Wublins as you collect more unique monsters on Wublin Island.
- Has five stages, with only the first three being able to be reached on the release of this update.
General
Map
- Will now have a red circle on the Island that the player currently on.
- The sidebar will also have a red sleeve with a pin on the Island the player is currently on.
- The Island the player is currently on no longer reloads when the player goes back to the island from the map.
Bugs
Fixes
- The animation for Gaddzooks' sixth track on Plasma Islet has been fixed. Previously, the animation for the fifth track would play instead.
